Front seat car seat recommendations

I have a 5 year old son that gets terrible car sick so we are thinking of getting him a car seat for the front of the car in the hope this will help. Does anyone else have front seat car seats, if so I would really appreciate any recommendations, when you look online the ratings on each car seat all contradict each other. The comfort of the seat is really important aswell as my son has severe hyper mobility and travelling can be uncomfortable. Thank you any advice appreciated

Not what you asked but have you tried Kwells kids? Little chewable tablets. We found these really helped. Also I have heard ginger can help?

@SummerHouse thank you for your reply, it’s tricky with my son, he has autism and is non verbal, he also has sensory issues surrounding food and will only eat foods that are blended, apologies I should have mentioned this in my post.

You don't need a specific type of car seat for the front, you should just be able to move his normal car seat there. If it's a high back booster, you don't need to use the isofix on them.

Check your car manual to see what it says about child seats in the front seat. Sometimes they advise you to turn the airbag off. Regardless the seat should be pushed back as much as possible to create distance from the airbag.
