Teen boy deodorant

Please tell me what deodorant your teen boy uses. DS11 doesn't smell yet, but starting to think about getting him used to the idea.
He has fairly sensitive skin, so I am hoping to find something that doesn't irritate.

my teens use a nivea sensitive scent free roll on.

My son aged 11 uses a standard men’s roll on - he just chooses whichever one he fancies when we’re out together, but he really loves Lynx sprays - he’s got a whole shelf of them. 😆 They’re the ones all the boys at school seem to use but they’re not anti perspirant so he just spritzes them around.

The cotton dry sure roll on (the blue one). Find it much better than the spray. Whole family use the same. DS has eczema and he’s fine with it.

My 16 year old uses a 48 hour Sure cream one. At that age they stink very quickly, the Sure keeps him smell free all day, he puts it on after showering daily

If he hasn't started to smell yet and you just want it so he gets into good habits I would go for as natural as possible a deodorant rather than a commercial anti perspirant.

It doesn't matter. He won't use it anyway.

Lynx.

Lidl all around here

Make sure you get an antiperspirant rather than just deodorant like Lynx.

Thesearmsofmine · 06/07/2023 08:37

Ds12 uses Mitchum

Both mine swap between Nivea and Sure, depending on what's on offer at the time. You may need to provide a roll-on deodorant for school after PE, aerosols haven't been allowed at my sons schools.

Sanex is gentle roll on. Sprays and high perfume smells are not allowed in school changing rooms if he was going to take it in with him.

Thank you all for your suggestions. I suspect we might try a few before we settle on one, I think probably a stick or a roll on.
