Nominated By Council For Housing Association

We bid on a flat with a housing association, once the bidding was closed the council asked us for bank statements, payslip & rent arrangement. Guess this was an affordability check, after we submitted this information, they emailed us back to say we have been nominated for the property. Our status has changed from Live to Nominated. The council informed us that they have passed our information on to the HA which was on the 16th June 23 as it’s been 3 weeks I was just wondering what the process is how long we need to wait! Because the HA hasn’t been in contact with any updates.
Am not the most patient person in the world but I was hoping they would have been in touch by now! When I called the housing association up they said they can’t give me any kind of time limit, but the housing officer will in touch in due course. 😒

Forgot to add, what sort of questions would the housing officer ask?

This depends on so much, your council, the HA, whether a member of staff is on holiday, etc etc.

Maybe they have essential works to do while it's vacant?

That’s true! Thank you for the feedback! I just have to have patience.
After all the research I’ve done it can’t take anywhere from 4 - 8 weeks before viewing if they have to do repairs & check the gas etc.
