Hullo!

I've heard that this is quite a genteel picnicky event, so was planning a blanket and M&S tapasish Nice Food.

The artist I'm due to see is currently on a UK tour and the footage (3 or 4 shows so far) shows clustered rowdy jumpy fans at the stage barriers - very festival vibe and not genteel at all.

I'm happy with either outcome Just wondering which style of event to plan for Confused

I went in 2013, Blondie head lining and High Cornwell from The Stranglers in support.

It was all very blankets, picnics and Pimms, however once the bands came on obviously you have the option to get closer to the stage for a jump around. So plan for both events and situate yourself accordingly 😉

I saw Will Young there a few years ago and it was fab. Had a lovely picnic on a blanket but there were lots of nice foodstalls around and a waitrose VIP section.

From your username I can guess who you're going to see! I'm also going to see them (although friend has cancelled, so I'll be going on my own at this rate..!). Agree that it'll hopefully be a relatively classy picnicky affair.

Thank you! I'm taking your advice and planning for both!

Taking in small blanket in a rucksack and couple of Pimm's will buy food there.

Thank you

Heh you got me 😉.

Maybe we'll cross paths!

Try to sell your spare ticket, I know they're hot cakes.
