Hamilton the Musical - any tips?

Taking teen dd to see Hamilton on Saturday, going on the train to Paddington and then the tube. Anybody have any tips for the journey from Paddington and also any recommendations for a nice lunch near the theatre? It's my dds first time in London so want it to be a fun and not stressful visit 😊

It’s near Victoria station right?

If so there’s a great food court called Market Halls across the road. There’s a Malaysian place there called Golpal’s corner …. Love that place.

Thank you, yes near Victoria Station so I'm guessing that's the closest tube stop although when I googled it, St James Park was suggested?! That sounds a great suggestion but not sure Malaysian it would be dds thing!

But will look at the food court definitely.

TBF when I went with a friend we ended up in a Franca Manco and were very happy with ourselves, there's one a few minutes walk away.

There's a McDonald's over the road further up which me and DS utilised for a late night snack when we saw Hamilton! Pre order your drinks for arrival, and be warned the queue for the ladies toilets is huge during the interval.

If you're musical theatre fans in general check out the theatre cafe diner! Look at their Instagram for what they do - you'll either love it or hate it!

If it’s the theatre I’m thinking of Victoria is closer. You exit the station and cross the bus station to get there.

there are other options in the food court but I can’t remember what as tbh we go for Gopal lol

Thank you all! It's good to hear it doesn't sound too difficult to navigate from Victoria. I am hoping we will be there for midday and can have a very leisurely lunch and relax before going into the theatre. Yes will definitely go to the toilet beforehand 😁
