My dad aged 17 is looking for work. He's at a loss with his CV. Not much to put on it.

Are there any templates or top tips for a teens CV, please?

We used an app! Really easy.

Which app, please?

DD's has

1. Name/email/phone number at top
2. Personal profile (tailored to job)
3. Skills section (given high prominence as that's the main thing to highlight for a teen unless they've got loads of work experience)
4. Education (shorthand as 9 GCSES grades 9-4 including maths and English unless you particuarly need better grades for the job)
5. Work experience (which was all volunteer work prior to her 1st job)
6. Hobbies and interests (including focusing on why these gave her transferable skills)

It's a page of A4 and she struggled to fill it, but I don't think that matters too much.

I downloaded these two. I can't remember which one I used but it would have been one of them
