I just read that she’s been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s at only 62.

I feel sad for her - she’s campaigned so much after her parents suffered with it, and now it’s her turn. She’ll know exactly what’s coming.

Early-onset is vile. My late ex-FIL was diagnosed in his 50s, and it was devastating.

What a shame.

Poor Fiona. For some reason I recently re-watched the film Still Alice, heartbreaking.

Heartbreaking news for Fiona and her family
I hope the media treat her with the dignity she deserves - a horrible nasty disease

Really sad news, i feel for her and her family. She always seems so nice and down to earth.

I can't imagine how scary it must feel.

My son is locked in his own world at 24 (his development froze as a one year old baby, and that's where he remains), but I am thankful that he has never been aware of what he missed out on.
It absolutely breaks my heart, but he has never known any different.

It must be harder to know what is coming. My heart goes out to her.
