Does anyone pay full price for West End show tickets?

I've just bought a couple for Grease, £35 each, towards the front of the stalls but at the side.

I'm on loads of offer sites and get lots of spam but that's the only time I buy tickets. Full price these seats are £108 each and they're not even the best seats!

Who is paying that?! You can take a family on holiday cheaper than going to the theatre.

Can I ask what sites you are on please?

We paid quite a lot for relatively last minute tickets for a West End show 🤷‍♀️.

Everyone has different priorities.

What offer sites? Have no idea how to get cheap theatre tickets except sit in bad seats.

Also would like to know what site please! My daughter is desperate to see Hamilton but it’s so expensive - it’s like the price of a holiday to take the four of us!

littleripper · 04/07/2023 21:06

Yes I always want to see specific shows on a specific day so I usually don't have much choice.

This one's quite good https://www.lsbo.co.uk/specialoffers

But you do have to check regularly. Offers are often 24 hour only and the cheapest tickets are at the beginning of rhe week, as you'd expect.

Hamilton have a lottery for £25 tickers I believe.

Cheap theatre tickets, london theatre tickets

Enjoy the amazing offers at lsbo.co.uk for west-end shows. Book tickets with half-price cheap & discount theatre tickets now for your favorite show playing at the London theatre.

I'm the same as you OP. The most I have paid is £30 each seat. But they are never in the stalls.

I currently have two shows booked for August thanks to Kids Week.

I got two shows last year thanks to entering the lottery. Only problem with some of the other shows' lotteries is that it is a maximum of 2 tickets and I would need 4 😕

christmastreefarm · 04/07/2023 21:15

I do sometimes pay full price - I have just booked standing at the skys edge for next year.

Generally if paying full price I scour the review sites to find the best deals.

Alot of the time though I wait for offers - have got some good deals.

PerspiringElizabeth · 04/07/2023 21:16

Love a deal but am willing to pay full price for certain things. Eg Hadestown Feb ‘24 😍😍

Iamblossom · 04/07/2023 21:21

Yeah we do. 100s of pounds.
