Diets/ meal plans you’ve been able to stick to and lose weight?

I’m a constant yo-yo dieter and can never stick with something for long. Has anyone got a fairly uncomplicated, straight forward meal plan that I could follow? I’m not a massive eater, but spend most of the day snacking on biscuits as I have two young DC and very little time.

The only thing that worked for me was calorie counting, used the MyFitnessPal app and didn't cheat. Scanned, weighed and logged everything

Intermittent fasting comes with the great side effect that the longer you do it, the easier it gets. Don’t have any breakfast, eat a modest lunch and normal dinner, try not to snack in between and don’t eat in the evening.

You feel hungry for a couple of days and then your body adjusts and you not only don’t feel hungry but better all round as you stop having blood sugar highs and lows through the day.

I've lost 18 pounds so far this year and I've literally just stuck to fruit and fat free greek yoghurt for breakfast, soup or salad for lunch and snacks of fruit or a hard boiled egg, normal tea but watch portion size and if I want a snack at night sugar free jelly although I do have cheat days. I also exercise cardio and/or weight training for at least 30 mins 6 days a week. It's not easy but it's worth it, the weight training has made a huge difference

I've found that eating unprocessed food has really helped.

Yoghurt, fruit and seeds for breakfast.
Lots of raw veg plus cheese/eggs/meat/fish fire lunch. Piece of fruit.
Normal dinner, maybe some dark chocolate for a snack.

I have stuck to this since March (with a few pub nights etc in between) and have so far lost 23lbs.

I've looked at it as a new way of eating, rather than yet another diet.

Hope this helps.

I've stuck to six pack revolution. It suits me fine.
