Getting an EV in September and am shopping around for chargers and power suppliers.

Any advice / recommendations?

We have a zappi from my energy, very happy with it.

We have a zappi too, works well so far. I’ve just switched to octopus, they have a few deals for charging your car overnight.

We have a Podpoint. No issues so far. App works well, fitting was straightforward.
Apparently octopus are the ones to look at. For electric, we are not with them currently

We have a Hypervolt - very happy with it. We switched to Octopus when we got the car - IntelligentOctopus which is dead easy to use. Plug the car in, tell the app how much to charge it and it does it overnight, very cheaply. It's 7p per kwh at the moment I think.

We use Octopus Intelligent too - DH is very disciplined and programmes the dishwasher and washing machine to come on at night! We pay 7.5 p per kw for six hours overnight, and it has made a massive difference to our bill.

And being cheeky, if you do change to Octopus, my code is https://share.octopus.energy/new-mule-576 which would give us both £50! Grin

We've got a PodPoint for our Tesla, we still can’t figure out how to get the PodPoint app to connect to our WiFi but this doesn’t matter because we can control the charging schedule via the Tesla app.

The PodPoint was the cheapest by far too, £1000 for the unit and installation, some places quoted £1200 for fitting alone.

Podpoint charger with Octopus Go tariff. Works out about £20 a month for our everyday usage.

Wallbox with Octopus Go. Have no complaints about either.
