Milk spillage on clothes on bus from milk carton

On a bus with bag and put slightly opened carton of milk in bag. Thought it was secured but obviously not! Bag on lap and carton managed to spill onto dress!

Wouldn’t normally mind but have interview at 4pm today!

Can I rinse the milk out of the dress at work? Wash it? Does milk smell?

Help!

It will smell by 4pm, and so will you if you don’t wash it off your skin.

I'd rinse dress out and using handwash or soap and dry using hand dryer if possible?

It is luckily a dress where I don’t think creasing would notice…

I can and just posted on S&B. Looks like lunchtime will be spent doing that! Need opaque tights too!

I’m such a klutz! 🫣

Grin! Nope no crying! Just reminder to self. Buy new carton of milk. Just seems so wasteful to buy a carton of milk for one day! It’s government so we have to supply our own milk.

I don’t know about washing and drying it and creasing.

To be fair I was kinda looking for a new workwear dress. Can afford it. Zara has a sale on.

I might see if I can grab a dress now almost in work.
