If you live in Spain / own a villa there

Please could you tell me approximately what it costs you to run air con overnight in a bedroom?
I've tried to research this with little definite information. We want to pay our way for our stay, and if necessary have the dc in our room to save on costs.
A family member has intimated £25 / night per bedroom, everything I've googled suggests this is more likely to be per week. We just don't want to cause a huge bill.

Hopeful bump as I posted early and it's disappearing

I don't own a villa but my Aunt owns one in Spain. I stay there for a month every August and pay them €35 euros a night. Air conditioning is in the bedrooms and we turn it on whenever it's needed. My Aunt has never asked for extra money to cover the air conditioning.

@Anoushkaka thank you. I think it should be a weekly figure, not daily. I'm hoping more people will come along with similar information/ confirmation of cost.

Are they letting you stay free in the villa and just asking you to pay for the air conditioning you use?

It's a little more complicated and details very outing. We aren't required to pay for it, so are anxious as we don't want to be responsible for any large bills.

I have an apartment in Spain.
Electricity in Spain is and always has been expensive. Much more than we pay in the Uk even now
I can believe the £25 is per night. My electric bills for a month when I am not there is about £100 and rises to £500 when I go over for a fortnight. That would be hot water, cooking, aircon for 2 people.

I don't think people realise how expensive it is.

I live in Portugal and have air con in the bedrooms. Each unit runs at about 1.5kw, so you can calculate roughly from that:

1.5kw per hour per air con unit x electricity rate.

Google suggests average rate in Spain is about 0.27€ per kWh, so say you run one air con unit for 8 hours, that's 2.16€

Add on a bit for standing charges too. No idea what these are like in Spain.

Thank you @TheLeadbetterLife on that basis it's definitely not £25 per room each night. I've looked up the kw rates.

Thank you @HeyLala it's good to get an idea. We spend very little time indoors other than sleeping and will be sure to take meter readings and keep an eye on our energy consumption.
