I get so fed up on Mondays

This thread probably won't suit shift workers or people who work weekends

There's something about Mondays that makes me feel really shit. Even after the whole "back to work" morning drudgery and when I'm back at home in the evening. Knowing my favourite day (Saturday even though they're not exciting, just feels free and leisurely) is so over and it's a million years until it comes round again. Mondays are shit. There's hardly any other walkers out and about, everything feels boring. Grey and boring. Even the birds can't be arsed to tweet as much around here.

I hate Mondays!

I believe Bob Geldof feels similar... 🎵😉

Sunday afternoon/evening is my worst time of the week. Takes me right back to finishing off homework and dreading double Physics the next morning.

Maybe timetable something cheering and pleasurable in to your Monday evening, as a reward for surviving? Favourite meal/ new book or magazine etc.

I totally agree! I only work part time, and it doesn't usually include Mondays, but at the moment I'm working them and they're the pits!
That and Sunday eve - that's rubbish too!
