Does anyone know about industrial fans or air conditioning units?

I live in a country which has quite hot summers and I live on the fifth floor, so I am considering getting either one, but I’m not sure which would be the easiest solution. I am visually impaired, and don’t really like fussing around with difficult to use gadgets. If anyone does have an air conditioner, what is the easiest and best to use in terms of the amount of years you can use it without it malfunctioning? Someone also suggested getting one of those air coolers, but they said you have to put ice packs and water bottles in it? If I can find some thing like that and it isn’t too difficult to use, that might also be an idea.

What you almost certainly need is a mini split system.

This is an externally mounted compressor which would be mounted on an external wall and internally you would have vents mounted on the walls of each room you wanted cooling in.

It would be common to have one compressor feeding two vents allowing for direct cooling and air conditioning in two rooms

These systems are effective, simple to operate and are the most common sort of air con used in residential buildings in most countries.

It's quite common to mount these on balconies to save the expense of trying to mount externally at height.

Mitsubishi, Haier, LG, HiSense are all common brands.

Your best bet would be to speak to people around you to find a good installation company

I live in Australia and use the split system in all the rooms in my house. They are very effective, though you need to remember to close doors and so they don't work overtime cooling rooms you don't use. They are very quick to cool a room.
Most of the AC units in my house are over 35 years old and still going strong.

You need to think of the size of the room for the correct sized unit. Here's what Choice- the Aussie Which - on the subject :https://www.choice.com.au/home-and-living/cooling/air-conditioners/articles/what-size-air-conditioner-do-i-need
