I started a new role 2 months ago, it was a step back in terms of responsibility from being in the leadership team and four members of staff to manage day to day to being four rungs down from the CEO in new role.
My manager is now off with long COVID, naturally the temporary “leader” of the team will be the longest standing member, am I wrong to point out previous experience to see if I stand a chance of having a more leadership role, it’s been quite an adjustment!
Not sure whether to just sit tight on this one as it’s only been 2 months or to throw hat in with the management team.
