Don't shop in Fordingbridge Co-Op, your eyes will water, pop down to Ringwood

Sorry you probably wanted tips for the actual park which I know nothing of

We loved the alpaca walk.

Do your food shop in Ringwood - the shop onsite is (as expected) very expensive.
We found the cooking utensils in the lodges not great, so ended up buying a decent frying pan etc so we could do cooked breakfasts etc.
lodges we clean & comfortable.
Swimming pool is small with no slides etc.
play areas were good but muddy when we went (December) but should be ok now.
It's a great base to explore the New Forest & all the attractions locally - we visited Beaulieu, Paulton's Park, Marwell Zoo, Milestones Museum, Mary Rose In Portsmouth, Winchester Science Centre. Lots of other places to visit too.

There is a Waitrose nearby, we shopped there before arriving and friends who go each year always do a Click and Collect.

Check if you have a chalet with towels.

The crockery/cuterly provisions are poor, we had 4. plates, 4 mugs, 4 glasses and cutlery for 4. It meant washing up every time we used something. The oven was gas and it's tiny.

We tried to get a take away coffee one morning - told it would be a 45 minutes wait as there is no separate coffee counter, just the restaurant.

We loved this pub, The Firghting Cocks, you need to book a table, it's very popular and walking distance just up the road.

Thank you . We are staying in a comfort lodge and will probably need to use the launderette . Is there anywhere where we can dry our clothes if I take a airer ?

Most, if not all, lodges have an outside deck.

Just be glad you're not in one of the 'flamingo' lodges. Not well laid out at all.
