At a bar. Song finishes before I can get much info. Next song is Bon Jovi to give context/ era. Song goes along lines of “Billy says he” ….tho could he Johnny, Eddie, gives 80s vibes. Fast paced at that bit. Something about a small town. Male singer. Mid voice. Not low. Have tried Shazam & Google. Help me pls

It’s not that. Just listened to it. Similar message. Quite earnest. Probably American. Similar vibe tho.

Small town by John Melloncamp?

HappyHappyy · 02/07/2023 20:38

Springsteen features a lot of first names and small town references in his lyrics? That doesn't help you much though, sorry!

SatOnBeckysHill · 02/07/2023 20:39

I was also thinking of Springsteen

Summer of 69 - Bryan Adams?

Fourlegsandatail · 02/07/2023 20:41

I was going to suggest Summer of 69 as well! “Billy got married… and that’s when I met you”
