Eurocampy type things near Paris...

Are there any eurocampy/center parcsy type places near Paris but accessible by public transport? Were looking to get the Eurostar to Paris for a few days but then want to go somewhere more 'fun' for a couple more days.

Thanks 😎

There are a few Huttopias around the city, and a camping in the Bois de Boulogne actually in the city

@StamppotAndGravy does the camping in the B de B have accommodation already set up?

I have no idea. You'll have to use google Wink

This information is no doubt very outdated but in 1995 as a child we camped at a euro camp site in a place called Maisons Laffitte and got the train into Paris every day. Might be worth a Google.

@StamppotAndGravy lol thanks. Huttopia Versailles actually looks excellent!

There’s a Eurocamp park called La Croix du vieux pont (may have spelt that wrong) which is near-ish Paris. I don’t know how easy the public transport access is though.

@garlictwist Au contraire! It still exists!

There is a centre Parcs close to Disneyland Paris, Le Village Nature I think it’s called. Not sure how great it is for public transport links but it does run a bus to DLP

La croix du vieux Pont is excellent and close to Paris. We didn’t need public transport though
