Ridiculously expensive and in my house would get seriously manky seriously quickly… but I would never spend that on furniture so probably not the best person to answer!! They’re also quite ‘of their time’ and will look dated in future as are quite stylised

Awcw1234 · 02/07/2023 19:37

I have seen identical ones elsewhere in a slightly darker shade of grey for half the price!

They look nice but I refuse to have dining chairs I can't just wipe clean.

I honestly would just go for Eames dining chairs, they have a quite a stylish sleek look and much easier to keep clean. Much cheaper too! I know they're a bit ubiquitous, but it's a classic style

Northernsouloldies · 02/07/2023 19:40

Saw these in store, the actual seat is rock hard not comfy in the slightest.

Awcw1234 · 02/07/2023 19:51

Hmmm the alternative cheaper ones I’ve seen have really good reviews for being comfy 🙈

I Like them and don't think they are particularly expensive at £150 Per chair. I have very similar and they have started to creek a little but which is annoying. Other than that they're very comfy and are easy to clean.

FarTooHotForMe · 02/07/2023 19:58

Have you sat on one yet, it’s all about how comfy they are for me?

Awcw1234 · 02/07/2023 19:58

Thank you! That is reassuring! I really like the style but one of my family members turned their nose up at them today which is making me doubt my choice! Also looking at the matching bar stools as I have a open plan kitchen/dining room.

They’re nice.

Will they be in a dining room or a kitchen (and pick up grease/smells) and do you have messy children. Either are going to be a problem

orangeflags · 02/07/2023 20:02

They are lovely. My daughter has similar and they clean up really easily. She's got two little boys so they get heavy use

Awcw1234 · 02/07/2023 20:05

They will be in an open plan kitchen/dining room but it is quite large so they shouldn’t pick up smells. Kids are old enough to make too much mess anymore thankfully!

Not for me I'm afraid. They look like a cross between a low armchair and a dining chair. I've always preferred something more classical in form with a higher back.
