Dreaming in chapters

I know there's nothing more boring than other people's dreams, but I wondered if I'm odd, in that I often dream in chapters?

For example, one night I'll dream I got a random new job on the moon. The next night, I'll dream about how the job is going and crazy dream-stuff happens, then maybe the next night I'll dream that I got fired from that job. It'll all be connected, like a film and subsequent sequels...

I thought everyone dreamt like this but after chatting with some friends they said they definitely don't. Surely I'm not alone?!

I can change my dreams too, I don't have nightmares because I somehow know I'm dreaming and I can go off flying around instead of being trapped somewhere, for example.

Not heard of the chapters thing but I imagine it would indicate that you are a pretty up-together person, even your unconscious has developed continuity! The knowing and controlling your dreaming is known as lucid dreaming and is in some psychological or spiritual systems considered to be quite advanced, people are even taught techniques for encouraging it. All in all I'd say these were both signed of relative psychological health.
You're gonna tell me you're a mess now, aren't you? 😂

Not the chapters - that's pretty cool.
But I can sometimes control my dreams.
