Food tech recipe help please

Hi, dd (12) has food tech tomorrow. They can cook/make whatever they want. However, it has to be done in a 40 minute (a.m) lesson and then p.m they are outside doing games all afternoon - and whatever they have made needs to go with them as they come home straight from games (field is 15 mins from school). They can only make 1 sweet thing (she made biscuits last week) so it has to be savoury. So, need something quick and easy to cook, that a (fairy fussy) 12 year old would eat, and needs to be ok being unrefrigerated for an afternoon. Any ideas? TIA

some sort of muffin? Could be sweet but less sugar more fruit type thing. Or a savoury muffin if she would eat it.

Sorry, just seen she can’t make sweet, not you’d rather she didn’t.

Cheese scones?

Meandkarmavibelikethat · 02/07/2023 13:58

Thanks all, she's now told me she has an hour, so that gives more flex. She doesn't like cheese scones! She's making a focaccia bread. Thanks for the suggestions
