Slumber party advice!

I've got 5 9 year olds downstairs at my DD'S first ever slumber party. I'm regretting saying yes now! They've been great but I'm wondering what time I should expect them to go to sleep and how strict I should be? They've been settled down watching a film since 10pm, but still so noisy and laughing and chatting. To be honest it seems to be mostly my DD 🙈 I've been going down every 30 mins or so to sort out beds, make sure they're OK, remind them it's quiet chilling out time now. It's just not working! As soon as I get back upstairs they're noisy again.

Am I going to be awake all night? Would love any advice..

If they're just chatting/giggling I'd leave them to it, your dd will remember it as a really fun, cool night. I'm not sure where you are but it's the holidays up here in Scotland now so no problem with them being tired for school on Monday.
I'm guessing if they're 9 theres no mobile phones as that would be a worry if they were using them at this time of night though

Not in Scotland so they're still in school. They all brought ipads so I've taken them off them for bedtime (really hoping this is OK with the parents 🙈) otherwise they will be awake all night for sure! My DD has already had hers back hidden under the cover (so I took it upstairs!)

They're just being so noisy

I would just leave them to it as well, they'll tire themselves out soon with the giggling and chatting.

At that age I'd leave them to it.

Everytime I've nipped down they've got more and more lights on 🙈 no wonder they can't sleep
