My 12 year old is off to an event on Wednesday this week with his school and I’ve just heard that it’s all cashless. I need to send money with him for food and also souvenirs - I’m new to the U.K., what’s the best way of doing that?
His mobile phone won’t let me attach a card (I assume as it’s in his name and knows he’s a child), he doesn’t have his own bank card as we’ve not been here long.
Is there any such thing as a credit card that I can buy in a shop/post office, load with cash and he’s able to use it?
Ideally I’d prefer not to send him with my debit card but is that the only solution?
