No sports bra - what can I do at the gym?

I have no sports bra as one broke and the other one is lost.

I normally run or do group cycle classes, both of which I definitely need a bra for (I have 34HH boobs)!

I've ordered a new sports bra but I likely won't arrive for a few days and I can't just go an buy one in a shop as most don't go up to HH.

Any ideas? I even tried amazon prime but they don't stock sports bras in hh Cup.

I went swimming on Friday but it was gross (plasters floating in the water) and I've gone off that idea

weights! any kind of strength training

Tadashi · 01/07/2023 08:06

Yeah, I might do a weights routine at home in a minute. I like having someone tell me what to do with weights! But there is no bodypump class I can make it to this weekend.

Is all cardio out do you reckon? Maybe walking up a hill on a treadmill?

Cross country trainer I just do in my normal bra it’s a back and forth rather than heavy impact then weights.

Exercise bike

Tadashi · 01/07/2023 08:14

Thanks both! Will give those a go. Also found a yoga class this morning so will try that. Won't do me any harm doing something different anyway. Hope brastop has speedy delivery though!

Yeah, maybe the bike with a seat would be OK. Spinning / group cycle I definitely need a sports bra for. Didn't wear one once and it was not comfortable

If you have a TK maxx nearby it might be worth a visit, I was having a browse last time I was there and found a shock absorber bra in my size (34G)

Tadashi · 01/07/2023 08:21

Thanks @SBAM. There is one in my nearest big city, but not super close. I will look next time I'm there though as I want to keep some back ups! I might also check m&s? Just realised they may have hh bras. I'm trying not to buy too much ATM but this is clearly an essential item

Normal bra plus tight sports top or two

Tadashi · 01/07/2023 10:16

I just did 40 mins on the spin bike. Wore a bra with a tight crop top over the top and didn't do any sprints, just cycling with a bit of resistance and then standing up. Wasn't uncomfortable and didn't make a show of myself 😂. I still felt I got a good work out done so that's good. Will also do some weights. Not sure about the yoga class. I always find them a bit long winded for my tastes
