I remember it from the late 90s (maybe early 000). It's a man who is dealing with his mother getting old and needing to go into a home. She decides to sell her house and asks all the viewers to come at once. She then chooses her perfect home but had a stroke before she tells her son and he has to find it for her. I'm pretty sure it was a bbc drama and I thought Matthew Kelly was in it but maybe just someone a bit like him.
