I signed up with a PT 4mths ago and have had some great success, lost 20lbs, feel much better physically and mentally.
However, it has been all consuming every single day (steps, gym, cardio, meal prep, water, tracking). Absolutely relentless.
I've stayed same weight now for 8wks so feel like I've ground to a halt.
PT is now suggesting even more planning and meal prep and I cant face it. I find it so stressful and obsessing about it.
I want to make progress and so proud of myself for what I have achieved so far but not sure it's worth this level of obsession and effort?
Anyone been in a similar situation? Anyone started with a PT and then continued getting progress on their own?
I feel like a quitter giving up but equally don't want a life where I carry protein yoghurts in my bag when I go out with friends!!
