Liverpool with kids - on a Monday

Heading to Scotland when the schools break up - which for us is 7th July. We have two nights and one full day in Liverpool en route on Mon 11th.

Sadly the eureka museum is closed.

What shall we do? Where shall we eat? We love a good restaurant. Fancy a museum or gallery. We are going to do the Liver building tour. But what else?

We are staying in Princes Dock.

Unfortunately the museums are closed on a Monday! Definitely take a trip on the ferry.
I'm gutted for you that Eureka is closed. I went for the first time last week with the kids and it was fab. Definitely come back sometime for it!

The Baltic triangle is always great!

A trip on the ferry is a must.

Open-topped bus tour is fun, goes from the docks.

I think the Tate Liverpool is still open on a Monday as it's not part of the NML museums so has different hours. The Beatles story museum is also open on a Monday. The Albert Dock is a nice walk around and there's a bunch of good restaurants and cafes around there too. Also down Bold Street there's tons of restaurants which are great and lots of choice of cuisine.
