I now have a job offer from an asset manager in their tech department -- which will give me better career?

It's a fintechy role in an established firm

It's paying 6k higher than the accountancy one

Which will give me a better career in terms of exit opps, salary etc.?

Note: I am interested in money bc I am from a poor family that can't support me if something goes wrong....

Can't you tell the accountant company you have a slightly higher offer , and ask if they can match it ?

Fintech is huge and expanding. I’d select that over traditional accountancy.
