What to eat/buy in Washington DC

Heading there with greedy teen DC in the summer - any recommendations on what to eat or buy?

Food, restaurants, clothes, anything else - HMU!

Head to H street for food - had the most amazing ramen at Toki Underground there on our honeymoon! Also an amazing huuuuge sandwich place near the Capitol that I can’t remember the name of but I’ll try and remember. If you haven’t been before you’ll have an amazing time, I wasn’t sure if I’d love it but DC was one of our favourite stops!
