Paulton Park / Peppa Pig World - school holidays or wait?

My DD turns 2 mid August and is Peppa obsessed so I’d love to take her.

DH thinks we should wait a few weeks and go in September when school holidays are finished so it’s quieter but I think as Peppa world is aimed at pre schoolers it won’t make much difference?

Could anyone advise please?!

Wait.
There's so much more to Paulton's than the PPW bit, like the tractors and the seal rides and all the little ride ons (if they are all still there).
If travelling down then Longdown Activity farm isn't too far away if you want to add an extra day.

Wait! Also go on a weekday. Unless you have a 2 year old that will cope with 45 - 60 min queues for each ride... my just 2 year old barely contained himself with 10 min queues

I would wait a few weeks personally. Yes the Peppa bit is aimed at preschoolers but we went last summer holidays and it was very busy with lots of queues etc.
You'd have a lovely time in September when it's quieter. Paultons is a lovely park, lots of lovely gardens there as well as the theme park.

The Peppa bit is rammed most of the year but as the PP says there is loads outside that bit and that is much quieter outside school holidays. Although I love PP because it never gets horribly busy for rides.

Best tip I read is to wait until mid-afternoon to do any Peppa rides, as lots of kids head home then. The queues do drop a lot. In the meantime do other things or just wander round the Peppa bit. I found we got the rides done that we wanted to fairly painlessly that way.

There is a man who loves Peppa Pig World whose latest child (of those he acknowledges) is of the age that she might love it. See if you can go when he is busy.

September is often mild weather.

Wait!

Absolutely go on a weekday after school holidays. We went just on a Saturday not in school holidays and it was a special level of hell.

I have annual passes.. WAIT. Go mid sept. All the park will still be open. PP gets really quiet from 3pm too. So if she doesn't cope during peak day. Go the other side, splash parks etc then go back to PP world.

bettynutkins · 29/06/2023 20:55

As above, definitely wait. Also, go midweek (try and avoid Monday and Friday).
Also (as already mentioned) there's stuff to do in the rest of the park, do that first because Peppa World is quieter in the afternoon.

Agree with all those who said wait and do it outside of the holidays. It’s a great place, and PPW is excellent. But go when it’s quieter. Also agree with those saying go later in the day, it really does thin out.

Thanks all - guess I will have to admit to DH that he was right 😂
