Anyone got one?

Are they worth the money?

How is that supposed to be beneficial?
I do yoga so I regularly sit cross legged on the floor in meditation and I can feel that it makes one side slightly higher and means my spine is slightly out of line. I can’t imagine that is good for you long term & a quick Google seems to agree.

Are cross-legged chairs good for you?

Sitting with the legs crossed for a long time increases the likelihood of scoliosis (abnormal alignment of the spine) and other deformities. It can also cause greater trochanteric pain syndrome, a common and painful condition that affects the outer side of the hip and thigh.

That is a terrible ergonomic position. You would have a lot of aches and pains after using this for a length of time.

Erm, I'm not sure what the special chair is for? I sit cross legged on my cheap IKEA office chair, although I do have to jam my knees under the armrests. Interesting to read that it's so bad. I'll try to stop, but quite often don't notice I'm doing it until I've been sat that way for a while 😳

I sit like it a lot on my current chair, but I have to keep moving my feet otherwise I get pins and needles from basically sitting on them.

I think that’s a a different type of cross-legged, the one where you place one leg on top of the other with both feet dangling down. Not the yoga type of crossed legs Buddha pose type thing.
