HRT help

Have posted in menopause topic but no responses, can anyone help please?
I started HRT a couple of weeks ago, am 44 and peri so still having periods but they have been irregular for the last year or so. I have been prescribed gel and progesterone tablets and was told, because periods are irregular, to start gel straight away and take tablets on days 15-26 of the gel. My period started 3 days ago but day 15 of the gel isn't until tomorrow . Should I start progesterone tomorrow or wait until day 15 of this menstrual cycle (counting start of period as day 1)?

I'd take the progesterone on the day you are supposed to. Your cycle should settle down once you've been on hrt for a while

Thank you @mrsnjw I thought I probably should, so as not to go too long without it, but I don't want to make my periods any more erratic than they already are if I can avoid it
