Anyone else got this awful cough?!

For the last ten days I've had the most persistent cough and streaming nose.. sometimes a fever at night as well but this is intermittent.

I'm sure it's just a standard cold and will sort itself out but I'm on another night of coughing fits and just so tired 😢

Is there anything going round (UK) at the minute like this? I've never had a cough like it, it just won't stop! Tested negative for covid..

Yes! I’m going on week three of it. It’s terrible! I coughed so hard the other morning that I gagged. 🤮

Week three?! Omg...

I was very nearly just sick 😭

I have it. Or have some hellish cough, anyway. I've been working lates anyway but then I'm just sitting up coughing every night. It's getting old fast.

I do have hay fever and asthma, though, so I'm not completely sure it's not a fun new manifestation of that. The pollen is very bad this year.

I have an awful cough and tight chest, ten days now but mine was covid.

Yes! My head and back are so sore and I keep nearly peeing myself from coughing so much. It's a really mucus-y cough and yes eyes and nose keep streaming. I'm in week two and it's awful.
I have no helpful input sorry but I hope everyone's feeling better before much longer.

I'm with you @JeandeServiette it's getting really old. I also have hayfever and have really suffered this year so wondering if it's that...

My nose is non stop streaming which can't be helping.

Yeah post nasal drip will end up in your lungs as often as not.

I've just put some steam on now the humidity has finally dropped.

Yep. I had it for 7 weeks. Just couldn't clear it. Was feeling horrendous. Was referred for a chest x ray and got diagnosed with pneumonia.
