Broken metatarsal

I think I’ve broken the metatarsal beneath my little toe. Is it worth doing anything about it? For further information, I’m a wheelchair user who frequently breaks her toes due to Ehlers Danlos, and I just strap them up and get on with it because of course I’m not really weight bearing. This though feels odd and painful in a different way. There is some swelling and erm, interesting dents!
(I will not be going to A and E tonight)!

My daughter broke her 5th metatarsal in 3 places after going over on her foot on the beach. She walked around on it for a week before I took her to hospital as it didn't seem too bad and they put her in a cast to her knee. I would get it checked out as you don't want long term damage if the bones aren't in the right position. Hope it isn't too painful.

I snapped my metatarsal like a green twig! My foot swelled up alarmingly and I too, was plastered to the knee.

Probably worth getting it checked out.

Limited mobility is no reason to make your body worse than it could be.

Don't break yourself!
