Has anyone else seen the new Indiana Jones today?

I really enjoyed it; lots of nods of the previous ones, including a touching final scene, lots of fun and nonsense, and for most of it they didn’t try to pretend that Harrison Ford is still 50.

I’d love to hear what others thought of it. For a wee while I worried it was relying too much on its homage to the previous. But on balance they pulled it off.

Sorry I haven't watched it and I'll stay off this thread if there are going to be spoilers but I'm really interested to see what people think.

I'm desperate to see it and an avid Harrison ford fan.

Just seen it, enjoyed it. Went in with fairly low expectations but it was much better than some reviews said. Definitely better than Crystal Skull. Much more violent than previous Indy films though.

But this one was genuinely better.

I enjoyed it. Not the best film I ever saw, but entertaining, and I would recommend it. Liked the 'in-jokes', and Harrison Ford, as usual, was great.

Is it as fecking racist as the old ones. I made the kids watch temple of Doom a few years back . We had to turn it off as it was so awful.

Enjoyed it, but rather long, and a bit unnecessarily violent at times, so many shootings and punches in the face!
