Should I take this job ?

Currently working FT 36 hours a week. We have debts. They are manageable but I still long for the day they are clear (next year for the loans, which are the biggies, there is no clear/set end date for the CC's). We also have a need to buy teen DC x3 new double mattress's each. DH works FT.

I have seen a second job working 6-9 M-Thurs,. I would bring home £500 for July, if I took this temp job.

Thoughts ?

YABU - it's going to be too much for you and after the first week you will LOATHE going there for the rest of the 3 weeks plus what about YOU'RE summer. Remember you enjoy early eve swims, These wont be possible with the extra job.
YANBU - you need the cash, it's only for 4 weeks. The time will pass quickly.

For 4 weeks I would do it if £500 would make a difference to my family

Agreed. If it would make a decent difference and it was only 4 weeks then I'd do it.

I'd suck it up for 4 weeks.

It won't make a difference to the debt. But it could either:

Pay for most of the mattresses

Be put away to save towards Xmas

Give us a great summer in August while DC are not at school

Put us that little bit more straighter in the bank
