PDF Help please

I had my pdf shizzle set up nicely. My default viewer let me have all the features I needed, insert text etc and it saved with the attached icon (white one).

Earlier something opened in fucking Bing or edge or whatever the fuck it is, and I like the idiot I am clicked something at the top to clear it, before reading it properly.

Then my pdf's started opening in edge rather than chrome so I've tried to change it back and I can only get it to open in chrome as default but it only saves as a chrome html page which doesn't give me the functions I want, or I can get it to save with the adobe acrobat icon (red one) which also doesn't give me the functions, or it might but I don't like the format, can anyone help me get it back to the way it was please?

I've looked in the control panel but can only find adobe acrobat, not the white one, whatever that was and I've tried print saving which is what i normally do if someone sends me a chrome pdf but that isn't working either.

Have you tried right mouse clicking on the white icon and selecting
'open with' and choosing chrome that way?

I haven't got the white icon anymore, its the chrome icon, but yes, I tried that and it only gives me chrome, edge, adobe acrobatDC as options. If i choose adobe acrobat, it gives me the red icon and I don't have the functions I had before.

I've looked in my windows home list for a reader version etc and can only see adobe acrobat.

Can you please send me a screen shot of what you see in different attempts?

I've fixed it, I've reset it to open in edge and the icons and functionality are back to normal 😏
