Payroll tell me to speak to my old manager, I’ve sent a message but no reply.
They also tell me they’re legally required to pay it, however, have to get confirmation from the manager that I haven’t used it up.
It’s a PITA.
I was sacked after a proper witch-hunt against me (there was police involvement and a break in at my home) resulting in a full breakdown and I didn’t go to the disciplinary hearing because I was just over it.
I was ready to leave, I had two job offers and I didn’t want to have to work my notice.
They paid me basic hours but not the holiday.
I’ll call again tomorrow and phone ACAS but it’s such a ball ache.
I want to leave it all behind but feel like they’re fishhooking me by holding ontomy cash.
Argh!
