Holiday help! - canaries in January?

I'm due to start IVF treatment in the next few months, and we had a long haul holiday booked in January which was to a country with a Zika risk.

We have now cancelled this, but need to find a destination which is warm in January time, poses no risk of Zika virus and that is also not TOO far on a flight (from UK) in case I do fall pregnant.

Does anyone have any ideas?

At the moment, I was thinking the canaries. Just want some good weather!!

I’d go Canaries, not Cape Verde. Fuerteventura is my favourite island.

@DustyLee123 thank you! We were due to go to Bali, so a little bit gutted!!!

Do you know if there's a canaries island that would be warmer than the others? January time?

Gran Canaria is less windy IMO

We love Meloneras in Gran Canaria in Jan, have been a few times. Costa Meloneras hotel last time, and was lovely. However, there will be plenty of older folk wherever you go in the Canaries in Jan. Not a young persons vibe at all, but very relaxed, warm and gentle.
