What activities for a sleepover?

Dd (7) is having a friend round soon for a sleepover. I'm trying to think of activities for them to do so that they're not bored but I'm struggling. We don't have a garden so need indoor ideas really. I have some craft bits for them to do and we have a film planned with snacks but apart from that, not entirely sure. If anyone has any ideas then that'd be great Smile DD doesn't fancy baking/making a pizza so that's our unfortunately.

Face masks and nail painting always goes down well here. We did some bracelet making before too but generally they're happy to have the music channel on and just dance and act like wild animals

Card games/ board games?
Or take them out to park or playground for a bit?

How long is your guest staying?

honestly at this age I think giving them the independence to entertain themselves and not have a parent organising them is a great thing. The excitement of showing their friend all their things, rediscovering old forgotten favourites etc is great.

usually DS (now 8) would have a friend come after school and stay until mid morning the following day. Id have meals and a movie planned but other than that leave them to it with one ear on them

My 7 year old just played with her friend in her room when she had a sleep over. I did think up a few things, in case they had a down spike, like play dough/just dance on switch etc but mostly they just played independently.

Not a midnight feast. Our sleepover ended in physical fighting due to sweet and lack of sleep overload.3 girls at 3am!!

I've never had to provide entertainment- the kids figure it out themselves! The issue is getting them to stop and go to sleep!
