Child maintenance system rigged

My ex hasn’t paid a penny since February and every time I make a collect and pay claim he either disputes his income or raises some other dispute. When will it end? The system is made for delinquent fathers to get their way and delay. In a cost of living crisis, I’ve not received over 2k of CM.

Anyone else have this experience or any advice to impart?

its really not fit for purpose. My sons dad is self employed on a decent full time wage but somehow it’s declared to child maintenance that he has no income nor no benefits so he doesn’t have to pay a penny. I’ve done all the appeals and reconsiderations and they still go in his benefit. Currently awaiting a tribunal but I really don’t have no hope anymore. They just seem to do what they want and it’s allowed

It's crap. I applied for a variation but they say they'll only consider it if I provide his bank statements as proof
