One week passport renewal

Hello, has anyone recently applied for a child passport renewal through the one-week fast track option and can tell me how long it actually took please?

I've just got 3 Passports back under normal renewal processing and they took 7 days. There doesn't seem to be a backlog at all at the moment.

I did it last year for a child and adult. Managed to get an appointment at my closest office and the passports were with me within a week. If you're needing it soon then I would definitely do the fast track, I know you pay more but you know it'll definitely be with you quickly!
