I'm planning a day out for DS and me. He's mad about Roman's so I've booked the Roman Baths.

How long does it take for a 7 year old to look round the Baths??

What else can we do for the rest of the day??

Great advice. I'm really looking forward to spending a day together.

We're coming from East Devon. We'd have to change twice on the train. So, we're driving. I don't mind paying for parking if it's convenient as it's a fairly long drive.

Which car park is easiest and closest?

I reckon the Lansdown park and ride might be the best option for your trip, but it depends what route in you take.

Lansdown P&R if you're coming on the motorway.

Odd down if you're doing A303/A36.

Southgate or Avon Street are right in the centre.

Lots of roadside parking in Victoria park but not sure of the time restrictions.

Charlotte Street also central but is a bit higher up where Southgate/Avon street will put you at the bottom end of the city.
