Internet cutting out

Hi, boring post alert, sorry!
I'm clueless with all things techno but hoping someone might have more of a clue than me.

We have fibre Internet in a new build house. Never used to cut out, but does every few minutes now, so frustrating.
Provider is see the light. Our package is "super 60 mbps" and our download speed is 56.5 so not far off.
I don't think the speed is the problem, but devices just don't stay connected, even the TV with Google TV connected. The TV apps are the only thing that's continuously cutting out, every 10 mins when watching anything.
Was thinking of changing provider but I don't know if that'll achieve anything as the download speed is ok, and don't know that getting a more expensive package when our speed is the problem will fix anything? Not sure what the problem is.
Is it worth going for 'normal' non fibre broadband or is that even worse?
Our estate is on Ofnl network so can't go with BT/Virgin or big suppliers and bit reluctant to try another small provider just in case.

Argh what to do, any suggestions please?
Thanks!

Is it just the google stuff that's becoming disconnected or are other devices doing the same. For example if your on a laptop, tablet or phone just browsing, do you lose connection then?

Is it just the WIFI that is dropping out or the actual internet connection? If you have anything connected to the router with a wire, is that cutting out too.

We had some issues a while ago because the neighbours were using the same WiFi channel as us. Probably most people just use the default... anyway, DH changed ours (somehow, on the router settings I suppose) and that improved things.

Occasionally cuts out on other devices but mostly just the TV since we've had the Google thing plugged in, cuts out lots usually when using any app on there.

It'll be the google chrome, I have google equipment throughout my house and every now and then it will all refuse to work. Factory reset the router that normally clears it

Does your router indicate a problem with your internet connection when the drop outs happen? My router shows flashing orange for example if theres an issue.

If it's the router having repeated frequent drop outs then try doing a factory reset, and if that doesn't help then you'd need to contact your supplier.

If the router looks fine and isn't showing any issues when the drop outs are happening, then it will be an issue with the wifi signal in your house.

As Errol says, you could try changing the channel that your wifi is on, as it could be a channel that lots of nearby houses are using too.

Otherwise, it could be issues with the software on the devices you're using. Try making sure they are up to date with software updates, try shutting them down completely and restarting, and then you could try a factory reset on those as well.
