How long after can you test?

Hey, I'm just a bit confused about when I should actually test? My period ended about 9 days ago, since then me and my bf have had unprotected sex 3 times or more. I have a clear blue weeks indicator test, but that says not to use it before your missed period, but that's almost a whole another month. Can I really not do it until then? Ive been having a few weird cramps in my lower stomach and craving specific things, and I've been SO emotional the past few days. What should I do?

Far far too early to test. And really too early to even be pregnant! If it's 9 days since the end of your period then you're probably about the point in your cycle for ovulation.
All your symptoms could just be ovulation.

TBH you sound quite naive about how it all works.

You need to wait for ovulation (probably now). Have sex at the right time, wait for the egg to travel to the womb to implant. And then wait for HCG levels to get high enough to be detected by a test. So first day of missed period, if you have an early detection test it might work 2 days or so before that.

So you can't get pregnant in the week after your period?

So you can't get pregnant in the week after your period?

Technically you could if you ovulate. But very unlikely.

A typical woman would ovulate 14 days after the first day of her period. You cannot get pregnant until you ovulate (when the egg is released). So if you have a normal 28ish day cycle then I'd say about now would be the best time to have sex to get pregnant.
