I read a book earlier this year and I can't remember its name and its driving me potty.
It was a memoire-type book by a male secondary school teacher. The front had a blackboard on it (I think).
He was in a failing school and started as a temporary teacher. He then got a job at the posh st elsewhere but chose to remain in the 'failing' school.
He has a son (I think he was a single dad?)
Please can someone put me out of my misery and name the book?
