NHS remove myself from wait list?

Hello there

So, last year I was diagnosed with a tendon issue. I was referred for an ultrasound scan to pin point the problem.

Eight months on, I still haven’t had the scan or heard anything, BUT I am pain free and back to normal. 😳 I think I’ve healed naturally.

Do I let anyone know I no longer need this appointment? I can’t book an appointment at my doctors to tell them I feel better. What would you do?

Thank you

Either ring the GP and tell them to cancel your referral or wait to get a letter then just ring and cancel. I'd wait just in case it comes back.

To be honest I haven’t felt a thing for a few months. Quite the opposite. Back at the gym and walking 6 miles at least a day. I have lost weight as well which probably made a difference. Actually forgot I had the referral until a few days ago.

Don’t want to create a longer wait list for someone else if it’s not necessary.

I’ll ring my GP tomorrow, thank you.
