Happy Sunday ☀️

Has anyone got any good recommendations for brunches in Windsor please?

Thanks in advance!

I've been to Bill's Windsor which was nice.

I mean, I thought it was ridiculously overpriced, but I'm more of a Wetherspoons / caff at the back of the market / transport caff type of girl so I might not be the best judge Grin

Browns do a brunch menu that’s

Pressed post too soon!

Browns do a brunch menu that’s got all the usuals. It’s pretty nice! Nothing outstanding but tbh I don’t think much in Windsor town centre itself is outstanding food wise.

The Ivy does brunch too I believe - it’s the usual Ivy brunch menu but the building is gorgeous.

The castle hotel is a lovely location and has a brunch. I haven’t eaten there in its current incarnation but have stayed and eaten when it was the Harte and garter and it was lovely.

The Ivy Brasserie thee is also lovely.

Try GoGos Waterfront, it’s on the river by the racecourse. They do a lovely brunch

Starseeking · 26/06/2023 00:28

Browns if you want standard British/Mediterranean fare, The Ivy Brasserie for more of the same but a bit more special, a bit more lovely and a bit more pricey.

The ivy is definitely the nicest in Windsor.

Not been impressed (understatement) by the service at The Ivy. I'd go to GoGo's Waterfront at the Marina or the Greene Oak, Oakley Green

@FinallyHere im the same with GOGO's and i find it very expensive for what you get!

FinallyHere · 26/06/2023 15:12

The Greene Oaks bottomless brunch does have limited but I've never made any headway against them

I can't find the deets on the web site now so may be worth a phone call.

The Royal Windsor is excellent.

We were in Windsor for an event last week and, thanks to this thread, booked lunch at Bill's - as recommended by @UsingChangeofName . It was really lovely! One of the other recommendations (think it was Brown's) was closed for refurb but re-opening next month. We walked past The Ivy and that looked v nice too, just opposite the castle.

Is that you Charles? 😂

We absolutely loved the Clarence Brasserie & Tearoom. Not sure if they have a brunch menu but it was definitely open mid-morning.
