Where can I buy shorts for skinny, tall boys?

Not a stealth boast I promise. DS is super skinny due to an ED ( ARFID) but has managed to have a massive growth spurt so he is now nearly a ft taller than he was at the beginning of the year.

So his waist is still the size of an 12-13 year old in boys clothes, but he has longish legs so they are now like hotpants, but anything else buries his waist. He cant do belts as he isn't able to manage them, or tie waists. I have bought some mens XS, but they are comically enormous. I cant seem to find anything for boys bigger than about age 14 in the places I usually shop.

Another thing is he doesn't like the feel of jogging bottoms or sports style shiny shorts, so they are out too.

Help!!

Scandi shops cater for tall skinny, maybe H&M?

My son is younger but the French brands average dimensions for boys are taller and slimmer.

he has fabric shorts from Petite Bateau. Cyrillus also worth looking at.

Zara?

Men's sizes vary by shop. Shops aimed at teens/young adults may be better. Hollister, River Island.

I'd look for a 26 inch men's

H@M boys - their largest teen size is 12-14 years, but they usually have some long shorts styles, which might not be too short.

We have this problem Ds is 15 6'1" but with really long legs and is very very skinny. He has just got some shorts from Sports Direct Soulcal range in size Small which are ok on him.
