Where to buy dishwasher tablets?

Maybe in bulk? I usually just get the 'middle range' ones from Aldi, the ones with a soluble wrapper but not the expensive ones in a bag. But recently they've only had the expensive ones or the cheap lemon scented ones and I'm never making THAT mistake again!

I want soluble wrappers, not scented and not insanely expensive like Finish, Fairy etc...

If you have a membership, then costco own brand ones are like this and come in mega big packs.

We don't have one locally unfortunately ☹️ I did think of that but I reckon it would work out cheaper to just buy some expensive ones by the time we've done a 2 hour round trip plus gone round the store going "Omg it's so cheap! Let's have TWO of them!" 🤣

I buy online from Smol. Soluble wrappers, recyclable cardboard box, non-smelly and work really well.

I get smol dishwasher and laundry tabs posted out to me for a cheap price (about a fiver each for 30 or so). A subscription service but you can delay or amend orders at any time. They're plastic free too :)

crackfoxy · 25/06/2023 12:00

Lidl ones are great and always available

DelphiniumBlue · 25/06/2023 12:05

Smol. They make an excellent product and their online service is really easy to use. You set up the frequency of delivery, and it's simple to adjust it if your needs change. It's eco friendly, and comes in a box just small enough to fit through a letter box.

timetochangethename · 25/06/2023 12:12

Lidl, they come in a cardbox box too so better for recycling. I think we've pretty much tried all the ones you can buy in supermarkets and these are the best.

YouBoggleMyMind · 25/06/2023 12:13

We used Smol

greenacrylicpaint · 25/06/2023 12:15

lidl has unscented too.
but they don't always have them in.
their ordinary 4in1 are great as well if you don't mind the scent (it's by far not as strong as main brand tabs).

both come with soluble wrapper in a cardboard box.

Bookish88 · 25/06/2023 12:17

Smol might work for what you're looking for and they're reasonable inexpensive on subscription but personally I didn't think they cleaned very well.

mrsmacmc · 25/06/2023 12:17

SMOL as they don't leave the dishwasher tablet aftertaste on things

Chickentonights · 25/06/2023 12:18

I get mine from Amazon, usually try and hold out for prime day and Black Friday. The last times I’ve paid about £10 for 100 finish tablets which is as cheap as I can find for decent ones.

TheChosenTwo · 25/06/2023 12:20

I’ve got a subscription on Amazon for Finish dishwasher tablets. Tried a few other cheaper brands but always came back to finish.

hotchocdrinker · 25/06/2023 12:21

I can usually get 100 finish tablets for £10-£11 from the original factory shop.

TheFairyCaravan · 25/06/2023 12:21

We always get the Lidl ones. We find them better than the bug brand names

TheFairyCaravan · 25/06/2023 12:22

*big brand names

greenacrylicpaint · 25/06/2023 12:24

the lidl 4in1 came up best in the german 'which' type product tests.

hiredandsqueak · 25/06/2023 12:32

Presto, the Amazon brand, work well and are reasonably priced. I pay about £9 for 120 tablets

Me too! Very happy with them. Smile

Bromptotoo · 25/06/2023 13:08

Prefer powder as it's cheaper and easy to vary the dose for stuff that's not badly soiled.

CrazyDaisy1111 · 25/06/2023 13:12

Another vote for smol, very easy subscription

AintNobodyHereButUsChickens · 25/06/2023 14:10

Smol is expensive! £6.30 for 30 tablets!

I'll check out Lidl, thanks
